George Harold Andrews, Sr., 97, passed away Tues., Feb. 20, 2007 at his home in Hamden. Husband of the late Marcia Dicks Andrews, father of George H. Andrews, Jr. and wife Nancy of Salisbury, NC and Elsie Driscoll and husband Brian of Denmark, KS. Also survived by 4 granddaughters, 5 great-grandchildren and close friends, David and Ursala Cradle. George was born in Hamden Nov. 1, 1909, son of the late Clifford K. and Elsa Yale Andrews. He was a farmer and a meat cutter at the former Twin Spruce Farm Market. George was a member of the Day Spring Lodge No. 30, A.F. & A.M. for over 60 years and was a member of Hamden Grange.
