George F. Dingwall, age 72 of Woodbridge, passed away May 25, 2008 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. George was a longtime companion of Rose Boisvert of Woodbridge; brother of Ada Mae Foley of Northford; father of Lisa Carroll of Portland and grandfather of Connors Carroll of Portland. Born in Milford on Jan. 19, 1936, he was the son of the late Alexander and Ada Still Dingwall. George was a driver for Connecticut Limousine retiring in 1985, a Volunteer Fireman for the Town of Woodbridge for 26 years and a US Army Veteran. His funeral service will be held at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden on Thursday, May 29, 2008 at 12 noon. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday morning from 10 AM to Noon. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Eastside Cemetery, Woodbridge.
