George C. Kinsel, 45, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. Born July 25, 1969, he is a son of Ramona Scotto and the late Michael Scotto of Meriden. In addition to his mother, George is survived by his sisters and their husbands, Michele and Dennis Lanzoni of Wallingford, Donna and William Haggerty of Cromwell, Lynne and Gary Novak of Durham, and by his brother, Michael Scotto and wife Tami as well as many nieces, nephews and grandnephews. The family would like to thank the Institute of Professional Practice and Care for their dedication, compassion and support. The family would also like to extend their deep gratitude to the nurses and staff at Connecticut Hospice for their kind and considerate care of George in his final days. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11:30 at St. Joseph Church, West Main St. Meriden. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden on Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the service.
