Marenholz, George A. In Wallingford, October 16, 2004. George Alfred Marenholz, formerly of Willard St., Hamden. Husband of Mary Wrzesien Marenholz. Born in Hamden on May 28, 1918 , he was the son of the late Otto and Martha Podgwaite Marenholz. A U.S. Navy veteran of W.W. II, George retired from the United Nuclear Corp. as Night Plant Manager in 1983. A Past Master of Day Spring Lodge # 30, A.F. & A.M., he was also a member of Compass Lodge # 9, A.F. & A.M. , the Scottish Rite Valley of New Haven, The York Rite and Alice Chapter , O.E.S. George is survived by sisters: Ruth M. DiGioia and Cynthia M. Joyce, both of Hamden, Brothers: Otto Marenholz of Drake's Branch, Va., John Marenholz of Southington and Sterling Marenholz of Hamden. He was predeceased by Sisters, Martha Marshall, Alma Rosidini and brothers, Albert and Richard Marenholz. A Memorial service will be held in the Chapel of the Masonic Healthcare Center, Wallingford, on Thursday, October 21th at 3 P.M. Burial will be in Beaverdale Memorial Park.
