New Haven- George Nelson Schatzlein, 73, of Emily Rd., passed away March 7, 2003 at his residence. He was the husband of Betty Andrew Schatzlein. Prior to his retirement he was employed for the United Illuminating Co. for 42 years. He was a veteran of the US Navy. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Patricia Back of New Haven, a son, James Schatzlein of East Haven, a brother, John Schatzlein of North Haven and two grandchildren.
