Hamden, CT- Georgina Minott Hill, 77, beloved wife of 59 years of Kenneth R. Hill of Jesswig Dr., passed away August 19, 2006. Mrs. Hill was born in Portland, ME August 22, 1928, a daughter of the late George Henry and Mary Davis Minott and was a Hamden CT resident since 1961. She received her BA degree from Quinnipiac University, and later received her Masters degree from the Yale University School of Divinity. She had been a long-time member, and former deacon, of the Church of the Redeemer. She was an avid cat lover and has had many cats over the years that she thoroughly enjoyed. In addition to her husband she is survived by a daughter, Johanna Medcalf, of Old Orchard Beach, ME, sisters Charlene Thomas of Cape Elizabeth, ME and Betty Jean Braley of Portland, ME, along with several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hill was predeceased by her son, Kenneth R. Hill, Jr., sisters, Mary Minott and Joanne Harris, and a brother, John Minott. Funeral service will be private.
