Gladys, J. Blair, 95, beloved wife of the late Emile Blair, Jr. Loving mother of Gail 'Richard' Wagner of Cheshire and Barbara 'Richard' Allen of East Haven. Grandmother of Paul, Keith and Christina, great grandmother of Christopher, Sarah, Nicholas and Robert. Mrs. Blair was born in New Britian, a daughter of the late Gustave R. and Ida Pearson Johnson and had resided in Hamden for 50 years before moving to Cheshire and was a long time member of Christ Lutheran Church. Funeral service will be Saturday, Nov. 7 at 11 am in the Christ Lutheran Church, 600 Shepard Ave., Hamden. Interment in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may visit with her family Friday, from 5-8pm, at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 WHITNEY AVE., HAMDEN. Memorial contributions may be sent to Christ Lutheran Church or to the charily of one's choice.
