In New Haven, March 5, 2006 Harold M. Hotchkiss Sr., 91, of West Park Ave., New Haven, husband of the late Agnes Garbedian Hotchkiss. Father of Harold Hotchkiss, Jr. and Betsey Hotchkiss Yorkshaitis both of New Haven, and grandfather of Mark Robert Jordan of Branford. He was predeceased by three brothers, Arlo, Warren, and Howard Hotchkiss, and two sisters, Mildred Murray and Edna Cronin. Born in New Haven, Dec. 7, 1914 a son of the late Arlo and Allie Jonas Hotchkiss and was a lifelong resident of New Haven. He was WW II veteran having served in Pearl Harbor. Harold was the owner of Hotchkiss Plumbing and Heating for over 50 years. During that time he served families and businesses all over New Haven County. He was a retired captain in the Governors Horse Guard. Funeral arrangements are private and under the direction of BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden.
