Harry P. King, 85, of 707 Mix Ave., Hamden, husband of 59 years of Evelyn Marenna King, passed away Monday, November 6, 2006 in CT Hospice. Harry was born in New Haven, August 4, 1921, a son of the late William and Pearl Terwilliger King and had resided in Hamden for over 50 years. During his earlier years, he was the manager of Peter's Farm in Hamden, and later was as an electrician in the maintenance department at Yale University for 25 years, retiring in 1986. In addition to his wife, he is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Arthur King and a sister Cecelia King. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave. Hamden, Friday, Nov. 10, 2006 at 9:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church, Hamden at 10 am.
