In New Haven, May 12, 2002, Helen Ostrowski Coburn, 76, of 58 Ford St., Hamden, wife of he late Charles Coburn and mother of the late Mary Veronica Coburn. Grandmother of Lena Dalbey of San Francisco, CA, sister of Marie Hampton of Warminster, PA , Thomas Ostrowski of Forked River, NJ and the late Theresa Sloskey, Katherine Dixon, Frank and Edward Ostrowski. Helen was born in Chester, PA, Feb. 26, 1926 a daughter of the late Frank and Helen Closkey Ostrowski, she was a graduate of Abington School of Nursing in Abington , PA and Southern Connecticut State Univ., from 1966 to 1978 she was a Occupational Health Nurse Consultant for the State of CT and later a consultant for Blue Cross and Blue Shield. She was a parishioner of St. Rita Church and was active on several committees and was a former trustee of the church.
