MERIDEN - Helen H. Lirot, 95, of 410 East Main St., died Sunday, Nov. 14, 2004, at Coccomo Memorial Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late Dr. Stephen Lirot. Born in Meriden, July 1, 1909, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Bertha Wertdman Hoppe. She was employed as chief telephone operator at Southern New England Telephone Company, retiring in 1979. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. She is survived by a brother-in-law, John W. Haines and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Doris B. Haines. Funeral service Tues., Nov. 16, 2004 at 11 a.m. at St. John Luheran Church, 520 Paddock Ave., Meriden. The Rev. Wallace Merdinyan will officiate. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call prior to the service at church from 10 to 11 a.m. If desired, contributions in Mrs. Lirot's memory may be made to St. John Lutheran Church.
