Cheshire-Helen Schouten Stresin passed away June 7, 2004 in the Hospital of St. Raphael. Mrs. Stresin, wife of the late William G. Stresin was born in Albany, NY and lived in Cheshire for many years. She worked for the N.Y., N.H. & Hartford RR, Con Rail, Penn Central RR and retired from Metro North RR in 1986. She leaves a brother, James Schouten of Nevada, two nephews, Stewart Schouten of Meriden, CT and Wesley Schouten of Texas. Mrs. Stresin was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church of New Haven. Funeral service will be Monday, June 14 at 12 Noon at BEECHER AND BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden. Friends may call from 11-noon. Burial in Beaverdale Memorial Park.
