In Weston, MA, Jan. 8, 2003, Herbert L. Emanuelson, Jr., formerly of Hamden, husband of Joanne Emanuelson, father of Herbert L. Emanuelson,IV of West Hartford and Lynne Emanuelson of Attleboro, MA, brother of Joan Curtis and the late Elinor Page and grandfather of Alexander Emanuelson. He graduated from Yale University and the University of Connecticut Law School and practiced in New Haven for 48 years. He was Past President of the Yale Golf Association, Mory's Association, The National Club Association, The New Haven Bar Association and the Quinnipiack Club. He served on the Church Council of Bethesda Lutheran Church and the Easter Seal - Goodwill Industries. An Active Mason for 50 years, he was a Past Master of Wooster Lodge # 79, A.F. & A.M. and served as Grand Master of the Grand Lodge A.F. & A.M. of Connecticut in 1984. A Memorial Service will be held at the Bethesda Lutheran Church, 305 St. Ronan St., New Haven on Sat., Feb. 8, 2003 at 11 a.m. If you are unable to attend, you may e-mail your remembrance to his son @ herb@adamsknight.com.
