In Hamden, Jan. 13, 2005, Howard E. Houser passed away after a brief illness. He was born in New Haven, April 27, 1927 a son of the late Henry and Emeline Poehlmann Houser and has been a resident of Hamden for 25 years. He was the former owner of Seymour Sport Shop and he enjoyed gardening and fishing. He is survived by a sister, Helen L. Herr of Newberry, VT, a brother, Harold J. Houser of Milford and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Henry W. Hauser. Funeral service is private and under the direction of BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden.
