Howard Dale ''Pete'' Geary In Branford, Feb. 8, 2002, Howard Dale ''Pete'' Geary of 35 Hamden Hills and formerly of Bear Path Rd., Hamden. Husband of Alice Ferriera Geary, father of Stephen W. Geary of Haddon Heights, NJ and Lynne Geary of Aiken, SC, brother of Robert Geary of Gaithersburg, MD and Neva Snelson of Akron, Ohio. Also survived by 4 grandchildren. Predeceased by a brother George Geary and sisters, Edna Richardson and Vivian Snelson. Mr Geary was born in Frostburg, MD, May 24, 1921, son of the late Thomas C. and Marion Williams Geary. He was employed with the IRS for 35 years prior to his retirement in 1976. He was a resident of Hamden since 1949 and a 40 year member of Christ Lutheran Church, Hamden. Funeral service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, 600 Shepherd Ave., Hamden, Tuesday February 12 at 10:30 A.M. Arrangements with BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden.
