Hamden- Hugo L. Bersano, 81, of 1199 Whitney Ave., passed away Thurs., July 17, 2003. He was born in Hamden, Oct. 5, 1921 a son of the late Louis J. and Angelina Marletti Bersano and was a lifelong Hamden resident. Mr. Bersano was a 1945 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business. He worked as an accountant for the New Haven Housing Authority and most recently for the State of Connecticut Treasury Dept. He was a world traveler and a member of the ''7 Continents Club''. He is survived by two sisters; Olga Spargo of Hamden, Mary Cappetta of North Haven, a brother; Peter Bersano of Arlington, VA, 4 nieces and 6 nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated in St. Stephen Church, 400 Ridge Rd., Hamden, Thurs., July 24 at 10 a.m. Burial in All Saints Cemetery.
