In New Haven, July 30, 2006, Hyacinth K. Duncan, 72, of Bull Hill Lane, West Haven, formerly of Kingston, Jamaica, wife of Carlton Clark, mother of Veronica Duncan and her husband, Maj. George Taylor of West Haven and Jamaica, Vincent Rochester of Kingston, Jamaica, sister of Ileen Duncan and Aubrey Duncan, both of Montego Bay, Jamaica. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, Cadisha and Suzette Rochester, George, Jillian-Jo, Alanna and Bradley Duncan-Taylor and a great-grandchild, Candice Rennee Kennedy. Also survived by 2 aunt's, Rachael and Leah and an uncle, Bredda and several nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. Hyacinth was born in Kingston, Jamaica, June 15, 1934 a daughter of the late George and Ena Treasure Duncan. She was a resident of West Haven for 26 years and worked in the production department at the former Robert Shaw of Milford for over 8 years and retired in 1999. Funeral service at BEECHER & BENNETT-TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave., West Haven, Tues., August 8 at 8 p.m. Friends may call Tuesday from 5 - 9 p.m. Contributions in Hyacinth's memory may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 920 Farmington Ave., West Hartford, CT 06107, 1-800-441-1280.
