Inez Jackson Abram, 87, of 18 Tower Lane, New Haven passed away Sun., Nov. 11, 2007. She was born in Hamden, Oct. 10, 1920, a daughter of the late John and Anne Allen Jackson. She was employed at the former Winchester's prior to her retirement. Mrs. Abram was a member of Varick A.M.E. Zion Church for 50 years. She is survived by two sons, Odis P. Coleman of Manchester and Roberto G. Pouncey, a daughter, Maryann Pouncey, a brother, William Jackson all of New Haven, and a loving special grandson Eric L. Pouncey. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by sisters, Jackie Harrison and Mary Davis and brothers, Edward, George, John and James Jackson. Funeral service Sat., Nov. 17 at 9 a.m. at Varick Memorial AME Zion Church, 242 Dixwell Ave., New Haven. Friends may visit with the family from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the church.
