Cheshire - Irene Whay Cashman, 75, of Cheshire, CT a long time resident of West Haven, CT, died May 16, 2001. She was the widow of William R. Cashman. For many years she owned and operated a real estate firm, Cash Realty, located in Cheshre. Concurrently, she was an author of many short stories, articles concerning areas of interest in Connecticut and a cartoon writer. She was an active member of Christ Episcopal Church, West Haven, for over 60 years. She leaves a daughter, Kathleen Landers of Cheshire, a son, Attorney William H. Cashman of Guilford, granddaughters, Kimberly A. Cashman of Highland Park, New Jersey, Holly R. Cashman of Tempe, Arizona and Hayley M. Cashman of Guilford.
