Irene Rose Malaten of 135 Putnam St., Hamden, passed away peacefully at home, March 24, 2005. She was born in Naugatuck, CT, July 14, 1916, daughter of the late Louis and Veronica Gaydos Malatensky. She is fondly remembered by the Batter family especially Niki and Ray Dobbs. Irene spent most of her life caretaking Samuel and Marion Batter. The family thanks her wonderful and loving caregivers, Sandra Roberts, Tanisha Thompson and Jalita Manning. Miss Malaten is also survived by several cousins. Service of interment will be in St. James Cemetery, Naugatuck, Tuesday, March 29 at 11 a.m. Arrangements in care of BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden.
