Irene Berwing Sacco, age 90, of West Haven, wife of the late Joseph Sacco, passed away on March 15, 2018 at CT Hospice, Branford. She was born in Germany on March 30, 1927 to the late Robert and Maria Ludzioweit Berwing. She is survived by her nephew Robert Berwing (Monalisa) of Plano, TX, niece Stacey Levatino of Milford, grandniece Victoria Irene Berwing, and grandnephew Robert Berwing. She is predeceased by her brother Herbert Berwing. A funeral service celebrating Irene's life will be held on Monday, March 19 at 10:30am at Beecher & Bennett Funeral Home, Hamden. Friends may visit with her family from 9-10:30am before the service. Interment will follow in Beaverdale Memorial Park.
