In CT Hospice, Dec. 29, 2005, Isabelle T. Chapin of 660 Mix Ave., Hamden, wife of the late Joseph Spencer Chapin, mother of Gwendolyn Chapin of Hamden and the late Mary Chapin Jensen. Also survived by 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Charles Thorndike. She was born in New Haven, June 4, 1920 a daughter of the late Charles and Florence Cappello Thorndike. Funeral service Tues., Jan. 3, 2006 at 11 a.m. at St. Paul & St. James Episcopal Church, New Haven.
