West Haven- James E. Kennedy, 76, of Wilson Ave., husband of the late Ruth (Burkhart) Kennedy passed away on Sunday, Jan. 7 at Milford Hospital. He was born June 11, 1930 a son of the late Justin and Mary (McGrail) Kennedy. He proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict in the U. S. Army. James worked as a truck driver for 40 years for Local #443. He is survived by two sons and their wives, Mark and Donna Kennedy of Seymour, Ct and Craig and Donna Kennedy of West Haven and two grandsons, Ryan and Mathew Kennedy both of West Haven. He was predeceased by two grandsons, Jason James Kennedy and Mark Ryan Kennedy as well as several brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be private. The Beecher and Bennett-Taylor Funeral Home, 410 Campbell Ave., West Haven are in charge of the arrangements.
