James S. Kowalczyk, age 64, of Meriden, passed away at home on August 19, 2020. Born in New Britain on July 27, 1956, a son of the late Bernard and Theresa Redente Kowalczyk, he is survived by his long-time partner Ann Windish, sons; Daniel and David Kowalczyk and brother-in-law Andrew Bisi. He was predeceased by his sister Donna Bisi, and nephew David Bisi. After graduating from New Britain High School, James went on to work for Pratt & Whitney for over 30 years until his retirement. In his free time he loved playing golf with his good friends Stanley Bogun and David Bousquet, vacationing in Maine, going out on his boat and was an avid car enthusiast. He cherished his Corvette.

Services are being privately held at the convenience of his family.
