James P. Muldoon Jr., 67, of Hamden passed away suddenly on November 1, 2016 in his home. He was the loving husband of Barbara Antonio Muldoon for 44 years. Son of the late James P. Sr. and Wilma Schiller Muldoon, he was born in Bridgeport on April 28, 1949. Jim was a valued employee of the H.H. Perkins Co. for almost 50 years. An avid sports fan, James enjoyed his time officiating baseball and basketball games for the Hamden Father's recreational leagues as well as the local high schools and middle schools. Along with his wife Barbara, Jim is survived by his beloved son Jeffrey Muldoon and his wife Marissa; his sister Noreen Carlone and her husband Gerry; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service for Jim at 10:00am on Saturday November 5, 2016 at BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden. Visitation will take place from 9:00am until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Beaverdale Memorial Park, New Haven.
