Jane H. Whipple, 94, of Ashlar Village, Wallingford, wife of the late Harry Whipple, passed away at her residence on January 9, 2024. Born in Hazelton, PA on July 8, 1929 to the late Howard and Olive Jones Heffelfinger.

Jane had been an active member of Spring Glen Congregational Church and a Registered Nurse at Yale-New Haven Hospital for 30 years. In her retirement, Jane traveled the county with her beloved husband. They greatly enjoyed packing up and taking in the sights.

Jane will be remembered by her children and their spouses, June and Donald Hansen and William and Dawn Thomas; stepchildren, Kimberly and John Sceggel, Mark and Marilyn Whipple, Jonathan and Ann Whipple, and Jeffrey Whipple; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and her brother, Howard Heffelfinger. Predeceased by her brother, Richard Heffelfinger.

Friends are invited to visit with Jane's family on Saturday, January 13 ^th at BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave., from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., followed by a Funeral Service celebrating her life at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.  Burial will take place in Centerville Cemetery.
