Meriden- Janice (Hull) Johansson, 86, wife of the late Lars Johansson, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2015 at Atria Hamilton Heights in West Hartford. She was born June 1, 1929 in Meriden, a daughter of the late Charles and Emily (Boehle) Hull. Janice gradauted from Meriden High School. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends at her home, playing bridge and was a member of the Meriden Kiwanis Club, senior's group. She is survived by a son Erik Johansson of West Hartford, Cindy Johansson and her husband Keith Savage of Berlin and five grandchildren; Persephone, Lars and Emily Johansson and Laurel and Kevin Savage. She also leaves a great-granddaughter, Lucy Charlie Johansson and a brother, Charles Hull. She was predeceased by two sisters, Joyce Bidwell and Gloria Savage. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 10, 2015 at 12 noon at Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10am - 12 noon, prior to the service.
