Janice L. King, age 94, of Hamden, formerly of Darien, passed away on September 12, 2011. Born in Hamden on October 16, 1916, Janice was a daughter of the late Rufus Scott King and Alfrieda Francke King. Janice was a retired school teacher, formerly employed for the Stamford Board of Education. She was predeceased by her sister Alta King and her brother Robert King. Janice is survived by nieces and nephews. Her funeral arrangements will be held privately under the direction of BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden.
