Jean B. Cooper, 90, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013 in East Haven. Wife of the late John Floyd Cooper, she is survived by a daughter Susan P. and her husband Gene F. Brady, Sr of East Haven; grandchildren, Christie Cooper Lockwood (Mark), Steven Cooper (Andrea), Valarie Hyatt (Jay Majano), Matthew Hyatt (Elena), Tiffany Brady, Gene F. Brady, Jr and Jennifer Jerome (Josh); great-grandchildren, Jordyn, Meadow, Hunter, Vincent, Francis, Samantha, Autumn, Summer and baby-to-be Cooper, and her daughter-in-law Patricia Hunter Cooper of Oceanside, NY. In addition to her beloved husband, she was predeceased by her infant son Stephen A. Cooper, and her son Scott P. Cooper. Daughter of the late Harry and Sadie Weinberg Klein, Jean was born in New York City, NY on March 13, 1922. She had been employed as a bookkeeper and receptionist in Florida. Friends may visit with her family on Monday, February 25, 2013 from 3-7 PM and attend her funeral service at 6:00 PM, during the calling hours, at BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden. Interment in Florida will take place at a later date.
