Jean C. Michaels, 95, of 10 Stoddard Dr., Meriden, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2006 at New Britain General Hospital. She was the wife of the late John Michaels. She was born in Southington, March 31, 1910, daughter of the late Gabriel and Mary Pouelinik Tedeski. Mrs Michaels was employed as a cook at the Meriden Day Care Center, prior to her retirement. She was a artist and produced many paintings. She is survived by four grandchildren, Richard Kennison, Barbara Ritchie, David Kennison and William Kennison, three great grandchildren, Richard Ritchie, Jr., Jennifer Ritchie and Christopher Ritchie and four great great grandchildren a niece, Lillian Soboleski and two nephews, Thomas Tedeski, Jr. and Tim Tedeski. She was predeceased by a daughter, Marion Kennison and a brother, Anthony Tedeski and a niece, Judith Buonanni. A funeral service will be held Tuesday morning, January 10 at 11;00am at BEECHER & BENNETT FLATOW Funeral Home 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. Interment will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Meriden.
