Jean Ann Raccio, age 88, of Branford, passed away March 11, 2024. Born in New Haven on February 4, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Jennie (Dujardin) Binkoski. Jean was the beloved wife of Carmine J. Raccio for 60 years; loving mother of Jeanine Affie and her husband Christopher of Cheshire and Kersten Moore and her husband Anthony of Hamden. Jean also leaves her cherished grandchildren, Logan and Lucas Moore and Christian and Jake Affie. A resident of Hamden most her life, she also enjoyed her summer home in Branford, permanently moving there after retirement. Jean was a Medical Technologist, retiring from St. Raphael Hospital after 45 years of employment. Jean loved to paint and cross stitch with her "Stitch and Bitch" group friends. She sang in her church choir, but most of all she loved to spend time with her grandchildren.
Friends may attend her Funeral Service on Saturday, March 16th at 11:00 a.m. at the Hamden Plains United Methodist Church, 15 Church Street, Hamden, CT. Interment will be private.
