Joan Spencer, 68, of Wallingford, passed away on January 11, 2022. She was born in Meriden, CT on February 14, 1953, a daughter of the late Stanley and Bernice McMahon Kapustinski. Joan is survived by her daughters; Joanna Ahmed, her husband Mohammed, and their children Aiylah and Lianna of Norwalk, Sarah Darmofalski, her husband Scott, and their children Caleb, Daniel, Luke, and Hope of Plainville, brothers; Stanley Kapustinski and his wife Sharon of Meriden, John Kapustinski and his wife Cindy of Milldale, Joseph Kapustinski of Meriden, Paul Kapustinski and his wife Patricia of Arkansas, and Robert Kapustinski and his wife Cynthia of Meriden. She is also survived by her friend and companion of many years, David Spencer of Plainville, and many nieces and nephews. Joan was predeceased by her sister Maryann Kapustinski, and sister-in-law Kimberly Kapustinski.
A graveside service will be privately held in St. Boniface Cemetery in Meriden at the convenience of her family.
