In Hamden, Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 2005, John S. Adinolfi, 91, husband of the late Charlotte Spezzano of Half Mile Rd., North Haven, father of Gerald Adinolfi and his wife, Ruth of Northford, Mary Provini and her husband, Ray of North Haven, Paul Adinolfi and his wife, Cynthia of North Haven, Susan Reid and her husband, Alan of Hamden, Justin Adinolfi and his wife, Jane of Cheshire and the late John M. Adinolfi, brother of Julia Damiani, Sylvia Scaramella and Virginia Zolkiewicz all of North Haven. Also survived by a daughter-in-law, Karin M. Adinolfi of Nashville, TN, 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by brothers, Michael, Frank, Joseph, Salvatore and Louis Adinolfi and sisters, Irma Lupone, Virginia and Jennie Adinolfi. John was born in North Haven, Nov. 1, 1914, a son of the late Michael and Maria Tessitore Adinolfi. He and his late brother Michael, owned and operated M & J Builders of North Haven, where they built homes for over 30 years. Prior to building he co-owned and operated Maple Tree Dairy Farm of North Haven. Mr. Adinolfi was a longtime parishioner of St. Therese Church in North Haven. John's life was his family, his work and his vegetable garden.
