John "Jack" Arndt of Meriden, CT passed away September 24, 2023. He was the son of the late George and Elsie (Dandelski) Arndt. Jack proudly served in the U.S. Army. His entire working career was spent at Ryerson Steel. He loved photography and won many awards with the camera club. Another passion was traveling, whether to Europe, Canada, or the national parks. His many friends lived vicariously through his wonderful slideshow parties. Everyone lucky enough to know him has only happy memories to treasure. His famous quote: "Here's to those who wish us well, all the rest can go to hell. I'm gone, get over it."
Funeral service with full military honors was held on October 7, 2023 at Gethsemane Cemetery. Donations can be made in Jack's memory to either the Meriden Humane Society or Meriden Historical Society .
