John 'Jack' L. Connolly, age 90, of Hamden, passed away on March 3, 2015. Jack was the loving husband of Lucille D'Addetta Connolly; father of Albert Connolly of Concord, NH, Mary (Robert) Hayden of Rockmart, GA, Laura Connolly of Hamden, CT; James (Charlene) Connolly and grandfather of Leah & Emma Connolly of Madison, CT and brother of Marilyn Cole of Florida & Carol (Humbert) Sacco of Northford, CT. He was predeceased by his sister Virginia Coughlan. Jack was a former Sales Manager for International Instruments. As a life-long resident of Hamden, he was actively involved in various aspects of Hamden town government including a member of the Hamden Legislative Council 8th District and Chairman of the Hamden Board of Ethics. He was a Deacon of the Eucharist and a member and past President of the Men's Club at the Church of the Ascension. His funeral will be held on Saturday, March 7th at 9:15 AM from Beecher & Bennett Funeral Home, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, with his Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 AM in the Church of the Ascension, 1040 Dunbar Hill Rd, Hamden. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hamden. Friends may also visit with his family at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
