In New Haven, May 10, 2003, John James Crescenzi of 26 Howe Court, East Haven, husband of Isabel Bernardoni Crescenzi, father of Angela C. Kiss of Norwich and David Crescenzi and his wife Leslie of New Haven and grandfather of Joshua Crescenzi. Born in New Haven, March 18, 1920, he was the son of the late Amadio and Rose Zanni Crescenzi. A veteran of World War II, Mr. Crescenzi served in the U.S. Army in the European Theater. He retired from Pratt and Whitney Aircraft in North Haven after 30 years of service and also worked at York Square Cinema for many years. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, Wednesday, May 14th at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Blessed Sacrament Church, Hamden at 10:00 a.m. Friends may call Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. Interment in All Saints Cemetery.
