John H. Kay, 82, of Meriden, loving husband of Genevieve (Noyes) Kay, passed away on August 23, 2023 at Midstate Medical Center. He was born in Meriden, a son of the late John E. and Lolita (Shiner) Kay. Besides his wife, he leaves his daughters, Valerie Kay and Terri (Paul) DeLucia. He was predeceased by his brother Neil Kay. After graduating from Meriden High School, John went on to study at Southern Connecticut State University, where he received both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees. He then went on to teach at Moran Middle School in Wallingford for 32 years until his retirement in 1997.

Friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Thursday, August 31st at 11:00 a.m. in Walnut Grove Cemetery, 817 Old Colony Rd., Meriden.
