In Milford, Feb. 25, 2001, John D. Muller 67, of 165 Kelsey Ave., West Haven. Brother of Viola Shwab and her husband Paul of Madison. Also survived by nephews, Alfred N. Barrie of the Azores and Robert S. Murray of Orange, nieces, Erin D. Goudallier, Lindsay A. Barrie both of Westerly, RI and Dina T. Doheney of Milford. He was born in West Haven, Feb. 10, 1934 son of the late John H. & Viola Schmaelzle Muller and was a veteran of the Korean War in the US Navy. He was a self employed builder and owned Jalierd Builders of West Haven. He was member of the American Legion Post #71 of West Haven and was a four time president of the Home Builders Association of New Haven. Fuenral service at BEECHER & BENNETT TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave. at Court St., West Haven, Thursday, March 1 at 11 a.m. Friends may call Wednesday from 4 - 8 p.m. Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery, West Haven.
