John Simone, 56, of Hamden, husband of Anna Pimentel Simone, passed away on October 12, 2023 at Yale-New Haven Hospital after a short illness. Born in Pontelatone, Italy on April 13, 1967 to Maria Carusone Simone and the late Benjamin Simone.

After immigrating to America at the age of four, Hamden had been home for John and his family.  He graduated from UNH and worked for N&D Sports as an accountant for almost 30 years. Most recently he was employed by Stop & Shop, managing the dairy department. When not working John loved to travel, having taken his daughter to Italy only a few short months ago. John will be remembered as a hard worker and handyman who always put family first.

Besides his wife and mother, John will be lovingly remembered by his children, Kimberly and Michael Simone; his siblings, Joseph (Pia) Simone and Christine (Joseph) Carusone; nieces, nephews and many cousins.

Friends are invited to visit with his family on Wednesday, October 18 ^th from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church, 321 Circular Ave., Hamden, followed by entombment in All Saints Mausoleum.
