Joseph S. Balazsi, 81, of New Haven, formerly of Milford, passed away Tues., March 29, 2005. He was predeceased by his wife, Lorraine, two brothers and three sisters. He was born in Bridgeport, August 26, 1923. He served in the US Army Air Corps during WW II. He was a machinist at AirVac Inc., formerly of Milford, and retired after 20 years. Mr. Balazsi is survived by his stepson, Donald J. French of Hamden and dear friend and care giver, Marie Ackerman of New Haven. Friends may call at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, Friday, April 1 from 5-7 p.m. Funeral service at 7 p.m. Burial will be private in Kings Highway Cemetery in Milford.
