D'Errico, Joseph J. Joseph J. D'Errico, age 76, passed away Feb. 7, 2008, at his home on Shepard Ave. Hamden with his loving family around him. He leaves behind his soul-mate, Lorraine Chambrelli D'Errico, after 51 years of marriage. Born on Sept. 5, 1931, he was the son of the late Angelo & Ann Nastri D'Errico. Joe worked for 35 years at the New York, New Haven, Hartford Railroad & then 10 years for Hamden Public Works Dept. As a devoted husband, father & grandfather, Joe leaves his children, Ann L. D'Errico of Hamden & Angelo (his wife Michelle) D'Errico of Cheshire & grandchildren, whom he loved more than life itself, Alexa & Joseph D'Errico. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. Joe's family remain grateful to Dr. Sreenivas, Dr. Saracco & Dr. Ardesia whose loving care allowed them to have Joe this long & to Conn. Hospice Home Care for allowing them to keep Joe at home with them during his final days. His funeral will leave from BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave. Hamden, Monday at 9:30 AM. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 4 to 8 PM. Burial will take place in Centerville Cemetery.
