McGrath, Joseph Joseph McGrath was the son of the late Emma & William McGrath. He was born and resided in Brooklyn, N.Y. He was husband to his late wife Isabelle for 47 years. After retirement they moved to their summer home in Pinecliff Lake, NJ and wintered in St Petersburg, FL. Joseph later moved to FL where he lived with his friend and long time companion, Elaine Ryan. Joseph will be remembered for his service as a NYC Firefighter and Fire Inspector and for his service to the US Navy. He retired from engineering in NYC. Joseph loved to golf, bowl, play poker, music and dancing. He leaves four daughters, and sons-in-law, Kathryn & Tom Murray of West Milford, NJ; Joni & Jerry O'Brien of Washington, CT; Donna & Doug Schaefer of Hamden, CT; Gail & Bill Alesio of Princeton Junction, NJ. He is survived by 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in West Milford, NJ on Sat., Sept. 23, at 11 AM.
