Joseph W. Olt, age 91, passed away Dec. 15, 2009 at the Masonicare in Wallingford, CT. A Resident of Wallingford since 1995, moving from New Hyde Park, NY, he was born in NYC on July 26, 1918. Joseph was a son of the late Joseph & Theresa Kopp Olt. He was a US Army Air-Corp Veteran of WWII & was employed as an auto mechanic for the Gruman Aero Space Company. Joseph was predeceased by his former wife Bernice Capka Olt. He is the father of Joseph Olt of Grand Junction, CO and the late Mary-Theresa Kujath; father-in-law of Michael Kujath of Cape Coral, FL; brother of Anne Prancl of Manhasset, NY and the late William Olt. Joseph is also survived by 8 grandchildren. Joseph was a longtime member of the George Washington Masonic Lodge # 285. His funeral service will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009 at 10:00 am in BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, CT. Friends may also visit with his family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. Interment with military honors will follow in the Masonic Cemetery, Wallingford.
