Josephine 'Jo' C. Bosch, 79, of Hamden, passed away on December 10, 2014. Born in New Haven on November 8, 1935 to the late Joseph and Pauline Eisenhardt Bosch, Jo is survived by her siblings, Paula L'Ecuyer and her husband Richard of Hamden and Albert Bosch and his wife Elaine of North Haven; nieces and nephews, Rachel Bosch, Sarah Hyson, Alicia Lincoln and Brian L'Ecuyer. Jo grew up in New Haven before moving to Hamden as a teenager and graduating from Sacred Heart Academy. A graduate of New Haven State Teachers College (SCSU) she became an elementary school teacher in Hamden and continued her career as a principal. After her retirement in 1972 Jo moved to Florida, but it was not long before she came out of retirement and went back to teaching. In 2006 she moved back to Hamden to really retire. Jo was also a communicant and religious education teacher at Blessed Sacrament Church. Friends are invited to join Jo's family on Thursday, December 18th at 10:00 a.m. for a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Sacrament Church, followed by a burial in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
