In Toms River, NJ Monday, December 3, 2007, Josephine L. Johnson, 75, formerly of Hamden. Wife of the late Kenneth W. Johnson, Josephine is survived by son Clifford and his wife Pamela Johnson of Guilford and daughter Marcia Stefanacci of Toms River, NJ with whom she resided. She is also survived by grandchildren Jennifer, Patrick and Samantha Stefanacci of Toms River, NJ and Ryan and Christopher Johnson of Guilford. Daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Leonard, Josephine was born in Brooklyn, NY on April 10, 1932. She was employed by Sears for 35 years, where she worked in the auditing department. She was a member of Freedom Lodge and of the Dunbar United Church of Christ. Services are private and under the direction of BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 WHITNEY AVE., HAMDEN.
