Josephine Elizabeth Penque died peacefully on March 15, 2014. She was the widow of John Penque. Born in New Haven; she was the daughter of the late Michael and Pauline Burzynski Mikulka. Josephine leaves her cherished daughters, Barbara Penque and Florence Antos and her dear son-in-law Stan, all of Hamden. She also leaves four grandchildren, Katherine Antos of Hamden, Jacqueline Michaud (Ben) of Wallingford, Joseph Antos (Irena) of Trumbull, Elizabeth Woods (Brian) of Rye, NY, and nine great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister Mrs. Stella Garziano and two brothers, Anthony and Bernard Mikulka. Josephine devoted her life to caring for her family, especially for her beloved daughter, Barbara. Her strength and determination, love and understanding always guided her through life. At her request, private Funeral Services were held.
