Juana Rodriguez, 90, of Meriden, wife of the late Jose Ramon Rodriguez, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on February 4, 2026. She was born in Hatillo, Puerto Rico on February 8, 1935, a daughter of the late Agustin Valentin Curbelo and Ramona Moya Lopez. Juana is survived by her children, Lillian Ramirez, Miriam Valentin, Mayra Quinones, Maria Esteves, Ramon Rodriguez, and Nancy Sanchez, her siblings, Manuela Valentin, Dora Valentin, Carmin Valentin, Santo Valentin, and Andre Valentin, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Juana was predeceased by her siblings, Luz Valentin Moya, Ruben Valentin Moya, and Gladys Valentin Moya, her son, Juan Antonio Ramirez, and great-grandchildren, Libni A. Nunez Jr., Rosalinda Aguerro, and Angelica Quinones. She was a happy and loving mother and grandmother, always worried about each and every single family member. She was always smiling and kind to everyone she met. She loved being in church, worshipping the Lord. She was loved and adored not only by her family, but everyone she met along the way.

Friends are invited to visit with Juana's family on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. A funeral service celebrating her life will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
