Juanita Delima, 79, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2024 at her home in Hamden. Born on July 8, 1945 in Gurabo, Puerto Rico to the late Gaspar Perez and Teresa Deleon. After spending half her life in Puerto Rico she moved with her family to Connecticut. Juanita spent many years in Florida before recently moving back to Connecticut. Juanita's faith was a very important part of her life, as was going to church regularly. She enjoyed seafood, trips to the casino, and watching game shows. More than anything though, Juanita cherished time spent with her family. Juanita will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 52 years, Antonio Delima; daughter, Gladys Boria; son, Edwin Boria; grandchildren, Eric Chapman, Vanessa Baez, Julian Juarbe, Erica, Kayla, Eliezer and Ralph Boria; 11 great grand children.  Predeceased by her sons, Eliezer and Ralph Boria.

Friends may visit with her family on Friday, December 27th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Beecher & Bennett Funeral Home, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden.  A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home followed by entombment in All Saints Mausoleum.
