MERIDEN - Julio Velazquez, 65, of 78 Arch Parkway died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2007 at Hartford Hospital. He was the husband of Lydia Figueroa. He was the son of the late Jose Ramon and Candida Laboy Velazquez. Besides his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Juliett Velazquez, Yemenlie Velazquez and Jennifer Velazquez, all of Meriden; four sons, Julio Velazquez, Jason Velazquez, Kevin Velazquez and Freddy Velazquez, all of Meriden; and nine grandchildren. The funeral will be held Friday, Jan. l9, at 11 a.m. at the Beecher and Bennett Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. The Rev. Jose Estrada will officiate. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call Friday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
