MIDDLETOWN - June Dontigney, 72, of 352 Newfield St., died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2004 at Middlesex Hospital. Born in Meriden on May 10, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Joseph John and Esther Slamon Reynolds. She was a l950 graduate of Meriden High School and worked in the Medical Records Department at Meriden-Wallingford Hospital until her retirement in 1991. She enjoyed traveling and her grandchildren. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Marie Dontigney of Durham; a brother, Joseph Reynolds of Meriden; two grandchildren, Taylor and Jessica Dontigney, both of Durham; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Gene Reynolds. The funeral will be held Monday at 9:45 a.m. from the Beecher & Bennett Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden and at l0:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m.
